To provide our collaborative memory book services, we collect:

Account Data: Name and email address when creating a project.
User-Generated Content: Messages, textual content, and photographs uploaded by project organizers and invited contributors.
Transaction Data: Payment information processed securely via Stripe. We do not store raw credit card numbers.
Shipping Data: Names and addresses explicitly provided for the physical delivery of printed books.

3. Why We Process Your Data

We process your data strictly to facilitate the core functionality of the platform: storing your uploaded memories, generating digital books, and fulfilling physical print orders. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers.

4. Third-Party Sub-Processors

To operate our business globally, we securely share necessary data with compliant third-party processors:

Vercel & AWS: For secure cloud hosting and database storage.
Stripe: For secure payment and transaction processing.
Prodigi: For globally printing and shipping physical books to your provided address.

5. Data Retention & Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase your personal data at any time (The "Right to be Forgotten"). If you wish to permanently delete your account, projects, or uploaded photos from our servers, please email us directly at hello@muchloved.app. Upon request, all associated media will be permanently destroyed from our databases within 30 days unless required for legal/tax retention laws.
